"SlO (Slow)" is a reverb pedal for creating saturated reverberation, dreamy modulation, sleepy tones, and ambient sound images.
Equipped with three types of reverb algorithms tuned with WALRUS AUDIO's tasteful touches.

None of the three built-in algorithms are a reproduction of any real reverb.
All modes have been designed from the ground up to create a fantastical, dreamy space, from dark, which has a beautiful tone like the aurora twinkling outside the atmosphere, to swell, which creates artistic reverberations that follow your playing, to dream, which is like a daydream where you freeze the tones and layer them.

Additionally, it comes equipped with cutting-edge features such as a sustain footswitch that instantly extends the decay, modulation waveforms that can be set for each algorithm, and a high-pass filter for fine-tuning the tone.

Product functions and features details
■ SlO reverb algorithm
・dark: A shimmer-type reverb that adds -1 octave to the reverberation.
Combined with modulation that allows you to choose from three types of waveforms, you can create a majestic and glittering space. The X knob adjusts the amount of reverb in the -3 octave range. A sound that will take you to the stratosphere far above.
・Rise: An artistic swell reverb that slowly rises in response to your playing. Use the X knob to set the time it takes for the reverberation to rise. A velvety smooth sound.
・dream: Captures the input audio signal, freezes it and stretches it to output a pad-like reverb.
The extended reverberation can be played back infinitely, and phrases can also be layered on top of it.
The freeze/release of the reverberation can be triggered at any time with the sustain switch. The X knob adds vibrato to the frozen reverberation, creating a more day dream/sleepy world.
■ Modulation that can be used in combination with reverb
・sine: Smooth and even pitch up/down modulation.
・warp: Asymmetrical pitch-up modulation inspired by the skipping of old records.
・Sink: A detune effect that slowly sinks the pitch, similar to a Bigsby. Asymmetrical pitch down modulation.
■ Selecting Trail Mode
SlO's smart bypass function allows you to select the reverb trail mode.
Trail enabled mode allows the reverb to decay naturally when the effect is turned off.
Trail Off cuts off the reverb tail as soon as the effect is turned off.
You can switch to bypass mode by pressing the bypass switch while connecting the AC adapter and holding it in for about 2 seconds.
Repeat the same action again to toggle between the two bypass/trail modes.

All three modes (Dark, Rise, Dream) produce exquisitely good reverberation.
Sound House Than
The Dream mode in particular is a great match for flashy distortion such as the BIG MUFF, and the sound is so appealing that it's hard to think of anything else to use when playing thunderous sounds.
You can also keep the reverberation going with the Sustain switch. You can set it up between songs, or leave it on in the postlude, for a fantastical effect.
You can kill dry by turning the mix knob all the way up. My personal preference is to turn it a little more exaggerated, around 1 o'clock to 3 o'clock.
The sound image is not one of deep and grandiose sound, but rather of a unique floating feeling, like a shallow daydream.
There is a video on the Walrus audio channel on YouTube, so if you listen to it and intuitively like it, I'm sure it will become a pedal that you'll use for the rest of your life.
The modes are dream/dark/rise, which is something that would never be imagined with a normal concept of reverb, and the sound has a depth and atmosphere that can only be achieved with slo.
