About WALRUS AUDIO | About the brand

Walrus Audio is an effects pedal brand founded in Oklahoma, USA in 2011.
It is characterized by its cutting-edge and sophisticated sound and art design, as well as its innovative, original and high quality.
(From the official website)
Walrus Audio was born in 2011 from a small guitar circle in Norman, Oklahoma, USA. Since the launch of the Voyager overdrive, the product lineup has grown to 25 models. Walrus Audio is a group of artists, musicians, engineers, video game nerds, road bike lovers, and cat lovers. We get together every day to think about how to make this "little box" that creates big hits. We value the perfect balance between art and sound in our product concepts.
"What's the best local coffee shop?"
What influence did the Beatles have on music?
The internal debate never ends.
Walrus Audio is that kind of brand.

Walrus Audio FUNDAMENTAL | Features and Sound of Each Product
Fundamental Drive

- SMOOTH
Classic soft-clipped silicon overdrive. Clean and elegant sound. - CRUNCH
Soft clipped silicon with hard clipped silicon diodes and a slight low end boost for a crunch and edge. - BRIGHT CRUNCH
Adds pre-clip and low-end cut to the soft and hard clip of silicon obtained in mode, for a bright and sparkling sound.
Equipped with three modes, this versatile overdrive has a wide range of effects. It stands at the top of the effects chain and is an important tool for creating basic distortion tones.
Fundamental Distortion

- SMOOTH
High cut silicon diode asymmetrical clipping for a dark and dynamic sound. - Si
Classic hard-clipped silicon diode, compressed and crunchy sound. - LED
Hard clipped LED diode. Dynamic and crunchy sound.
A distortion pedal with three modes.
It covers a wide range of sounds, from dark and doomy to sharp and edgy lead sounds.
Fundamental Fuzz

- GATE
Lowers the bias voltage of the main fuzz, creating a gated sound. - CLASSIC
Screaming fuzz with a compressed crunch sound achieved by boosting the mids. - MID+
By boosting the mid-range and evening out the tone, it produces a rich, compressed sound.
An aggressive fuzz pedal with three modes and a wide tonal range.
It works great anywhere in your effects chain, such as in combination with your favorite overdrive or distortion.
Fundamental Chorus

- LIGHT
Recreates a traditional analog chorus with a warm, full, organic tone. - MEDIUM
The classic chorus effect now has multiple tempos. - HEAVY
This sound recreates the LCR Tri-Chorus, a classic 80's effect famous for its rich and complex modulation sound.
A digital emulation of a classic analog chorus pedal.
Three chorus algorithms provide a wide range of sounds, from gentle modulation to 3's Tri-Chorus.
Fundamental Delay

- DIGITAL
Add a clean, rhythmic delay to your signal. - ANALOG
Adds a filtered, slightly distorted delay to the signal, recreating the repeating nature of a BBD chip. - REVERSE
Adding a reverse effect to a signal can create gentle melodies or flood the circuit with reverse feedback.
A versatile delay pedal that can not only reproduce clean digital feedback and analog delay, but also provides a reverse effect.
There is also a Tap mode: when enabled, the footswitch acts as a tap tempo switch, and the 3-way switch becomes a division selection switch (quarter note/dotted eighth note/eighth note).
It also has a trail mode.
Fundamental Reverb

- HALL
Emulates the large sound of an acoustic hall, with a long decay time and a more diffuse, spacious sound. - SPRING
Emulates the spring reverb-like twang sound found in tube amps. - PLATE
Emulates a classy analog plate reverb that adds dense, focused reverberation to your signal.
A reverb pedal that produces the core sound of ambient effects.
Equipped with three reverb algorithms.
It also comes with a "trail mode" that naturally decays the reverb sound when the effect is turned off. You can switch it on by holding down the foot switch while connecting the power adapter, and when it is disabled, the reverb sound disappears as soon as the effect is turned off.
Fundamental Phaser

- LIGHT
A scaled-back phaser that gently modulates the signal. - MEDIUM
Recreates the classic warm analog phaser. - HEAVY
A multi-voice phaser that produces a wide range of experimental sounds.
A versatile phaser pedal that digitally reproduces the classic phaser.
Three phaser algorithms give you a wide range of sounds to choose from, from light tonal modulation to heavily modulated, resonant phasing.
Fundamental Tremolo

- Sine
The sine wave gradually rises and falls in volume, giving a slow and subtle tremolo effect. - Square
Compared to sine waves, this produces a more pronounced effect. - Random
Uses sample and hold to select a new random value at an interval set by the RATE control.
Optical tremolo gives iconic, rich movement.
With three waveforms to choose from, you can get sounds that range from refined and mellow to wild and crazy.
