VEMURAM Budi-G "Distortion" Controlling Natural Booster [Sound Demo/Review]

VEMURAM is a world-renowned Japanese handmade effects pedal brand.
It was released as a successor to the booster "Budi" released in 2016.
Not a "clean booster"By adding the new Gritty Gain (a slight sense of distortion), it has become a versatile natural booster that can be used with any equipment, such as pushing an amp or in combination with a drive pedal.
About VEMURAM | About the brand

Founded in 2008, this is a handmade effects pedal brand that Japan is proud of. With the release of the overdrive pedal "Jan Ray" used by Michael Landau, the brand quickly became known around the world. All pedals feature a luxurious brass body, original capacitors, and gold-plated metal parts of the 3PDT switch. The pedals have been highly praised for their nuances reminiscent of a direct amp and their gain response.

The Budi-G is the successor to the legacy model Budi, and is a boost pedal that allows you to adjust the Gritty Gain (a slight sense of distortion).
Unlike distortion with a strong sense of compression, you won't feel much distortion at first listen, but when you push a tube amp or stack it with other drive pedals, the presence of this slight distortion gives you a very natural boost sound. In addition, since it has a high headroom, it is ideal for pushing amps or drive pedals that are already distorted to a certain extent. In addition, it is equipped with a 2-band EQ (bass & treble) and SAT (saturation) trimmer, so you can adjust the tone widely to suit your equipment.
Please give the Budi-G a try. It's a natural booster that makes it easy to add dynamics to your sound and can be used with any equipment thanks to its Gritty Gain.
- A successor to the Budi with added Gritty Gain (slight distortion)
- Generous headroom and natural boost sound
- 2-band EQ with BASS and TREBLE
- VEMURAM's classic SAT trimmer
