A compact pedal that recreates Universal Audio's signature compressor, the UA 1176.

The long-awaited fourth UAFX model is significantly more compact than the previous nine products.
This is a series of four stompboxes that compactly bring together Universal Audio's outstanding analog modeling technology, cultivated through its UAD plug-ins.
It has a simple design with mono in/out and a single foot switch, and its size makes it perfect for building a system with an effects board.

The Universal Audio 1176 remains the king of studio compressors. With the powerful UAFX engine inside, the 1176 Studio Compressor pedal delivers the same punchy sound as the real thing. Now you can get the expressive tone of that world-famous hardware in a compact pedal.

About Universal Audio
In 1999, Bill Putnum Sr.'s sons, Bill Jr. and James Putnum, who inherited his DNA, re-established Universal Audio. They revived the classic machines and brought them back to life in the modern era.
