Umbrella Company's "Mayonaise Fuzz" was born from a unique interpretation of the fuzz distortion sound that has been passed down to the present day. It is tuned to be classic and modern at the same time, respecting the character that everyone loves. It references many famous machines, while offering a new texture and operability.
Rich and deep drive. Aggressive overtones. The biggest feature is the overhanging sound, which is thoroughly conscious of being alternative. In addition, it is equipped with DOPING to push the midrange and a 1979 switch to change the gain structure. It allows for multifaceted sound making suitable for the modern scene.
The moment you step on it, it inverts the atmosphere and dominates it. This is the fuzz drive that should be played right now.
About Controls
DOPING switch
The DOPING switch gives a fierce push to the mid-range that was lost in the tone circuit, injecting adrenaline into the sound image.
- Normal (switch down)
The DOPING function is disabled, and the tone control is the familiar original tuning. The midrange is scooped, and the TONE is centered around 12 o'clock. Turning left increases the low range and attenuates the high range, and turning right attenuates the low range and emphasizes the high range. You can also access a heavy sound that stands like a wall, or a tingling tone that emphasizes the fuzz. - Doping (on switch)
By enabling the DOPING function, the scooped midrange is strongly pushed forward to push the sound image forward. The texture of the tone control also changes, widening the sweet spot and providing more options for settings. Try turning the TONE all the way down or to the maximum setting.
1979 switches
- Normal (switch down)
Familiar original tuning.
- 1979 (on Switch)
It works to remove the dark membrane of the original, improves the compression of the high range, and expands the range of defense. It follows easily with more natural gain control even when playing with nuances by manipulating the volume at hand, which was a weak point of the original. In addition, the character of the low gain setting, which was limited in usage situations, has also changed, outputting a new sound sensation that combines fuzzy particles and cutting crunch tones.
Hidden Mode
By changing the jumper on the internal circuit board, the sound character can be changed to one inspired by a specific model from the Russian CIVIL WAR era. This model is a strange model that has the exterior of the CIVIL WAR model, but shares some internal parts such as capacitors with those used in the later ARMY GREEN era. It is characterized by a very strong low-end presence and "solidity" that is completely different from other models.
The bass is so intense you can practically hear the strings screaming. Try the normal mode first to avoid getting fired from your band, then try this mode if you want more!

I received the Mayonaise Fuzz. The EQ is effective, and the two switches on the bottom allow you to produce a wide range of sounds. I'll try my best to get the hang of it. pic.twitter.com/4xiwgiI8Dc

Mayonnaise Fuzz
I was so impressed by the demo performance by Yukio Nagoshi that I bought it.
I plugged it into a Yamaha mini amp at home and got this sound.
I really like it pic.twitter.com/Fu6RaHcXuI
