Revv Amplification G3 Pedal: High-gain drive with 3 types of distortion [Sound demo/review]

A compact effector that resembles a high-end amp from the Canadian brand Revv Amplification.
By switching between three types with different gain amounts and characters, a wide range of sounds can be created, and it can even cover metal sounds on its own.
A must have pedal for those looking for high gain.

An overdrive/distortion pedal that lets you switch between three drive styles.
Development of the G Series drive pedals began with the goal of creating an overdrive pedal with a high-quality tone that was as if it were extracted from one of the channels of the company's boutique amps.
The G3 pedal has a range of sounds, from a tight overdrive that can be used to create sounds like the hard rock of the late 70s and 80s to a deep distortion sound like the high-gain amps of the late 90s. In addition, by operating the aggression switch located in the center, you can switch between three drive styles, BLUE/OFF/RED, and change the nuances of the tone. The controls are intuitively named and functioned, with five controls: bass, middle, treble, volume, and gain. Depending on the settings of the drive switch and each control, this overdrive can create a wide variety of sounds.
It weighs less than 300g, but is made of a sturdy metal case, and the input and output terminals are concentrated on the back, so there is no extra space when using effects side by side. In addition, it is designed to be very compatible with both analog devices such as amplifiers and digital interfaces. It is powered by 9VDC and can only be powered by a power supply (sold separately). It is a true bypass design that outputs the signal without passing through unnecessary circuits when the effect is off.
■Aggression switch that switches between three drive styles (BLUE/OFF/RED)

・OFF: Low gain
・RED: Thick and saturated tone

Revv Amplification G3 Pedal | Review and reputation
I was trying out a pedal called REVV G3.

It's convenient to have one since you can change the modern sound mode and create some cool distortion depending on the combination.
I like how it doesn't lose nuance even at high gain.

This one can handle everything from rock to metal.
If I have this, ts and wah, I don't need anything else
I think it will become a staple in Japan too, it's that good.
The revv g3 is great!
