Kemper Profiler | A profiler that pursues the "authentic amp feel"

Kemper Profiler is an innovative processor that digitally analyzes and clones the sound of an actual vacuum tube amplifier using a unique technology called "profiling."
It first appeared around 2011 and has become popular in head and rack-type models, but the current flagship model is the foot-mounted Profiler Stage (released in 2019). It is a floor-mounted model with the same sound quality and functions as the Head/Rack models, making it easy to take to live performances.

By profiling (recording and analyzing) the actual amplifier, we are able to faithfully reproduce even the nuances that cannot be reproduced by conventional modeling.

Functionality and Extensibility

The basic design is a style that reproduces "one amp + cabinet + effects chain."
Although it is not possible to play multiple amps at the same time, it makes up for it by offering a simple, amp-like operation.

The knob layout on the front also mimics that of a real amplifier, allowing you to operate it intuitively as if you were using a real amplifier.
Since its release, some time has passed and firmware updates have significantly expanded the range of effects available (reverb, delay, drive, etc.).

On the other hand, the Profiler Stage adds a foot switch, and the built-in live controller makes it easy to switch presets in Performance mode and use the Morph function (continuously changing parameters with your feet).

The PC editing software "Rig Manager" is also provided, so even if you are not good at operating the device itself, you can edit and manage the sound using the editor.
Although it does not have a built-in audio interface function (USB audio is not supported), it does support recording and re-amping via S/PDIF digital output.
