Mateus Asato's signature pedal, the Asabi (overdrive/distortion), was developed through the production of over 10 prototypes.
This two-year process involved painstakingly testing the interaction between the distortion and overdrive channels, striving to achieve both soulful drive tones and smooth high-gain tones in the style of Mateus Asato.
The concept is "Marshall condensed into a compact box," with the distortion channel reminiscent of a JCM800 and the overdrive channel reminiscent of a vintage Marshall Plexi.
The Asabi condenses the distortion that many people desire into a compact pedal.
Equipped with a MIDI (TRS) terminal, it allows preset switching.

I think it's the ultimate distortion that allows you to fully express the expressive potential of the guitar.
I bought this pedal out of curiosity and it has exceeded my expectations. If you're looking for a wide variety of tones and a simple setup this is the pedal for you. I've been having a ton of fun over the past few months just plugging this pedal into my tube amp.
