Friedman BE-OD | Reviews and Reputation
It distorts a lot. It just distorts. It distorts so much that it's extreme. It distorts no matter what kind of clean amp you're using. When you turn up the gain, it becomes so confusing that you can't tell if the gain is increasing or not. If you accidentally step on another drive pedal in the front stage, it will be a disaster. The noise is also extreme.

I wonder if it's okay to call this an overdrive. But unlike distortion, it feels like an overdrive that has exceeded its limits, and the core of the pedal still has the feel of an overdrive, and the sound doesn't collapse even when distorted. The bridge mute sounds really cool. If you can't create distortion with your amp, it's quicker to leave it to this.
You can make various fine adjustments using the knobs, but the sound will be distorted to the limit, that's all I can say.
Using it at low gain isn't bad, but I feel like it would be a waste so I always have it set at high gain, which requires a handful of courage every time I step on it.
The title says it all (lol). Once you play it, you'll understand how good it is. I'm glad I bought it. It really boosts my motivation.

You can set all the knobs to 12 o'clock, or you can even play it at full ten, which is very comfortable. The Pre and Tight knobs allow you to easily control the sense of clarity and the low-high balance, which is good. The Bass knob seems to allow you to adjust not only the low frequencies, but also the overall presence.
If I had to point out a small problem, it's often said that the Gain knob doesn't change from 1 o'clock. It's surprisingly stable (laughs).
It's only been a few days since I bought it, so I haven't yet gotten around to removing the back cover to adjust it, but I'm looking forward to using it in the future.
This one unit will give you high gain on a clean amp.

No, this is really good.
