A new amp has been added to the popular EVH 5150 Iconic® series!

Evolving from the popular EVH 5150III® amplifier, the Iconic Series delivers the scorching sound and growling gain made famous throughout Eddie Van Halen's groundbreaking career.
Designed by amplifier engineer James Brown, the 5150® Iconic® Series 40 Watt 1x12 Combo is equipped with two EL2 power tubes and features a complex multi-stage hybrid preamp section with ECC34 tubes to deliver the powerful tone that modern guitarists demand.
The cabinet is constructed from MDF with an internal plywood baffle for tight bass response and houses a custom EVH 12-inch Celestion® speaker voiced specifically to match the preamp circuitry.

This combo amp offers two channels, each with its own unique voicing, for maximum versatility: the Green channel features an overdrive button for clean tones to mid-gain, while the Red channel features a burn button perfect for high-gain lead sounds.

Each channel is equipped with gain and volume controls, allowing you to match volume levels when switching between the clean and high gain channels.
The noise gate on channel 2 responds quickly to suppress hiss noise, while producing a clear, crisp sound without making staccato riffs sound unnaturally choked.
The Boost control allows you to add a +10dB level boost via a footswitch.
The control panel also features shared EQ (Low, Mid, High) for both channels, global resonance and presence knobs for comprehensive adjustment of low and high end, plus a global reverb control for adjusting optimal early reflections and decay time.

Other features include a two-button footswitch, effects loop, dual parallel speaker output terminals, a 2/1 power attenuator switch to reduce output wattage while maintaining tonal balance, and a speaker-emulated DI XLR with power amp mute, providing EVH tube tone for direct recording or use with any PA system.

With sleek EVH styling, the 5150 Iconic Series 40W 1x12 Combo is wrapped in black textured vinyl and features gold and black 5150 and EVH logo badges on the top left and bottom right of the black front cross grille.
This all-tube combo amplifier features a brushed gold anodized top panel, vintage-style chicken head knobs and molded black plastic top handle.
